Development upstarts Ganapati Malta have been awarded a Class 4 operating license by the Malta Gaming Authority, another step in this game developer’s determined march to success. Having set up shop just a few months ago, Ganapati Malta has great things in its future.

Who is Ganapati Malta?

Part of the Ganapati Group, Ganapati Malta is the game development branch of the parent company. The other half of the company creates web applications for a number of different uses. Ganapati has offices in Los Angeles, Tokyo, London, Tallinn and Bucharest.

Ganapati Malta was set up in September 2016 and its mission is to bring Japanese game design to the European online gambling market. A hugely successful debut at the ICE Totally Gaming conference in February seems to have sealed the deal – Ganapati Malta drew crowds with their games. Several games have already been created and the company intends to collaborate with partners across the entertainment industries – film, music, TV and more – to develop original games.

 A mark of integrity

Getting a license from the Malta Gaming Authority is a big deal for any online casino. The MGA issues one of the most prestigious gambling licenses in the world. It has earned this reputation by holding operators to the strictest of regulations.

Holding an MGA license frees Ganapati Malta to offer its games to other MGA license holders, thus opening up plenty of opportunities for the fledgling game developer.

The MGA received the praise of Ganapati Malta’s CEO, Mitsuya Fujimoto. “Having our first licence in Malta is a milestone for the company and we are proud to be associated with Malta and the MGA.

“The MGA has shown efficiency and professionalism throughout the process in working with our in-house team in ensuring we met all the requirements of the application.”

Ganapati Malta is also in the process of applying for a UKGC operating license, further expanding its reach in the European market and adding another quality guarantee that players can trust. Things are definitely looking up for Ganapati Malta and we can’t wait to see how they change this industry.
