Spring is on our doorstep and a number of top game providers are celebrating with the release of several interesting slot titles. Let’s dig in!
Fortunium – 25th March
Microgaming have been uncharacteristically quiet about this slot, which was announced in the ICE 2018 event. What we do know is that it is a steampunk-inspired slot that includes some innovative features like a Stacked Mystery Symbol and a Win Booster.
Given Microgaming’s track record, we’re willing to bet that this is going to look great and bring plenty of excitement to the players who give it a go
Cash of Kingdoms – 26th March
Another ICE 2018 announcement, Cash of Kingdoms is a whole other ball game to the steampunk aesthetic of the other Microgaming title due for release this month.
Enter a world of arrows and gunpowder, armour and catapults in this medieval-inspired slot. Special features include Invading Wilds and a number of mighty warriors will also be making their debut on this slot, including an archer, a rogue, a mage and a bombardier, among others.
Red Hot Slot – 7th March
Get ready for a slot that will sizzle your taste buds and clear your sinuses! Red Hot Slot by Red Tiger is all about spicy food, a theme we can’t say we’ve seen much of before.
Flaming woks, bundles of chilli peppers and other hot stuff occupy these reels, with the suits being represented by painted letters, which add a pleasing Asian-inspired touch to the design.
Hotline – 22th March
Get ready to step into the past with an 80’s inspired NetEnt slot that brings the heat (and the bling). This slot’s narrative includes high-speed car chases, precious stones and plenty of dubious hairstyles as our protagonists evade the law in Miami.
The Bonus Bet is sure to interest avid gamers – this feature increases your chances of encountering an expanding wild and thus improves your chances of claiming a big win.
Easter island – 22nd
Yggdrasil once again knock it out of the park with this fun and unique title. Head to Easter Island, where a pair of moai (those big stone fellas) cheer you on as the reels spin. Your new rocky friends also partake in the casino feature fun, inhaling symbols and spitting them out for you in new configurations.
When you do exceptionally well, the reels expand upwards, increasing your chances of hitting those paylines. With charming symbols, outstanding animation and a lovely soundtrack, we can tell this one is going to be a player favourite.
Børk The Berzerker – Hack ‘n’ Slash Edition – 7th March
This is a slot all about Norse myth but not at we know it. A quirky slot from Thunderkick, this game follows the eponymous Børk as he faces ugly monsters and evil beings, the likes of which would probably seem a little out of place in the ancient sagas. We’re fairly certain the creatures mentioned in the Edda weren’t this dorky-looking.
Warrior Børk is on the wild symbol, which only appears on the middle reel and expands to bring the pain to all surrounding creatures and a big win to players!
Imperial opera – 7th March
Hit all the high notes with Play’n GO’s unforgettable night at the opera. Lush colours and an unusual choice of theme make this title stand out among the many Asian-inspired games we’ve come across.
The soundtrack was a pleasant surprise. It certainly has an Asian flavour to it but it’s a lot more upbeat and catchy that you’d expect from a slot with the word ‘opera’ in the title. The expanding symbols make for an exciting feature and the slot pulls of a classy interpretation of a culture that is often misrepresented.
Sweet Alchemy – 22nd March
If you loved Candy Crush, Sweet Alchemy is the casino slot equivalent that will certainly give you a sugar rush. Start off with a 5×5 reel structure packed with candies and you’ll soon see those reels grow in all directions, ending up with a huge grid of symbols!
A riot of colour, Sweet Alchemy will take some getting used to – the layout alone would be enough to intimidate inexperienced players. However, the gameplay itself is relatively straightforward once you get stuck in and promises a sweet game experience to boot.
